-
- Your disk prep software (Fastprep?) should be able to read the SCSI rom on the
- drive, which has the removeable media flag set on. I believe that, for best
- results (and how I set up mine), all the disks should have the same volume
- name. You shouldn't be restricted to one partition on the drive - I was able
- to set up 10 demo AFS partitions on one disk and the system (using a DKB
- Ferret controller) was able to detect all this and put 10 icons on my
- screen(!!). The prep software I used was Rdprep391.lha from Aminet) - it
- reads the Zip SCSI rom correctly. (Correction - it's rdp391.lha).
-
- To determine if your controller handles diskchange correctly, I suppose
- you'll just have to try it. I do not use mountlists - only RDB's written
- to each disk.
-
- I don't know of anyone who's set one up on the GVP, but it should be possible.
- Good Luck
